These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the HostAlert mobile application, website, and related services (the “Service”), operated by HostAlert Ltd (“HostAlert”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
“HostAlert”, the HostAlert logo, and all related product and service names, branding, and slogans are trademarks or registered trademarks of HostAlert Ltd and/or its licensors.
These trademarks are protected by intellectual property laws and may be registered or pending registration in multiple jurisdictions worldwide.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any right or licence to use any HostAlert trademarks, except as expressly permitted in writing.
You agree not to use any trademarks, trade names, or branding that are confusingly similar to HostAlert, or that could imply endorsement, affiliation, or association without prior written consent.
By accessing or using HostAlert, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
- TheHostAlertService
HostAlert provides event discovery, alerts, and informational tools designed to help short-term rental hosts, multi-property operators, and management teams identify local events that may impact demand.
HostAlert provides information only.
We do not:
– Automatically set prices
– Provide financial, legal, or tax advice
– Guarantee increased revenue or occupancy
All pricing and operational decisions remain the responsibility of the user.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service.
- Accounts
Some features require you to create an account.
You are responsible for:
– Keeping your login credentials secure
– All activity that occurs under your account
– Ensuring the information you provide is accurate and up to date
You must not share your account credentials with others or people outside of your organisatio
- Subscriptions & Billing
3.1 Subscription Plans
HostAlert offers subscription plans including Monthly, Annual, and Enterprise.
Subscriptions are licensed on either:
– A per-property listing basis, or
– A per-area / location basis
Plan details and pricing are shown at the point of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled in advance.
Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
3.2 Payments
Payments may be processed via:
– Apple App Store
– Google Play Store
– The HostAlert website (including payments processed via third-party payment providers such as Stripe),
or as otherwise agreed in writing.
Where payments are made via the HostAlert website, payment processing is handled securely by third-party providers. HostAlert does not store full payment card details on its own systems.
You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorise HostAlert (or its payment providers) to charge the applicable subscription fees.
Applicable taxes (including VAT, where relevant) may be added at checkout.
3.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time.
After cancellation:
– Access continues until the end of the current billing period
– No partial refunds are issued for unused time
Subscription management is handled through your App Store, Play Store, or your HostAlert account (for website purchases), as applicable.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
- Event Data & Accuracy
Event information is sourced from third-party providers and public data.
While we aim to provide accurate and timely information:
– Not all events may be captured
– Event details may change or be incomplete
HostAlert does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timing of event data.
Users should independently verify important details where required.
- Data Exports & Permitted Use
Certain plans allow users to export event data (e.g. CSV files).
All exported data is:
– Licensed for internal business use only
– Intended for planning and operational purposes within your organisation
You must not:
– Redistribute exported data externally
– Resell or sublicense event data
– Publish event data publicly
– Use exported data to create competing products or services
HostAlert retains all rights to the underlying event data.
- Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
– Misuse or abuse the Service
– Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or bypass security features
– Share exported data outside your organization
– Use HostAlert in violation of applicable laws
– Interfere with the operation of the Service
- Intellectual Property
All content, software, designs, trademarks, event data, and branding within HostAlert are owned by HostAlert Ltd or its licensors.
No rights are granted to you except those expressly stated in these Terms.
- Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if:
– These Terms are breached
– The Service is misused
– Required by law
Termination does not affect any outstanding payment obligations.
- Limitation of Liability
HostAlert is provided “as is” and “as available”.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
– We disclaim all warranties
– We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
– We are not responsible for pricing decisions, lost revenue, or missed opportunities
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Schedule A – Enterprise Plan Terms
A1. Scope of Access
Enterprise plans may include:
– Event visibility up to 18 months ahead, provided on a rolling window
– Event data export functionality (CSV)
– Support for unlimited properties within a defined area or location
A2. Area / Location Licensing
Enterprise subscriptions are licensed per area or location, not per individual property.
Unlimited properties may be added within the subscribed area.
A3. Use of Exported Data
Exported data may be shared internally within your organisation only.
Enterprise users must not:
– Share exported data externally
– Redistribute or resell event data
– Publish data publicly or provide it to third parties outside the organisation
A4. Data Ownership
All event data, exports, and insights remain the intellectual property of HostAlert Ltd and its licensors.
A5. Billing & Term
Enterprise plans are typically billed annually unless otherwise agreed.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
A6. Fair Use
HostAlert reserves the right to apply reasonable usage limits where usage materially exceeds normal business activity.
